Child Development Unit (CDU) / Special Needs Service (SNS)
The Speech and Language therapists at the Child Development Unit (CDU) aim to provide a co-ordinated approach to assessment and management of children with a range of communication, feeding and general development difficulties.
The Speech and Language Therapists who work in the Special Needs Service (SNS) aim to provide a co-ordinated approach to assessment and management of children with a range of severe and/or complex communication, feeding and general development difficulties within Mainstream Primary schools or Special Schools.
Clinic Service
Are a team of Speech and Language Therapists who provide assessment and management of children’s speech and language difficulties
Specific Language Impairment Communication Service (SLICS)
A team of Speech and Language Therapists who work in the Specific Language Impairment Communication (SLICS) Service to provide a co-ordinated approach to assessment and management of children with a range of communication difficulties where there are no known general learning difficulties. We work within Mainstream Primary and Secondary schools in Stockport.
